This ain’t your average breakfast sandwich, plus with 85% less fat than regular side bacon, there’s no better way to start your day.
- 2 Eggs
- 1 Pkg Double Smoked Applewood Back Bacon
- Bread of choice
- Shredded cheese
- Optional: Hot sauce, ketchup or Dijon mustard
- Cook bacon slices over medium heat
- Set bacon aside on plate
- Crack first egg into pan (add salt & pepper to taste)
- Add shredded cheese
- Meanwhile, toast bread of choice (we like thick sourdough)
- Assembling sandwich: bread + sauce of choice + bacon + egg + bread
- Crack second egg into pan
- Add egg on top of assembled sandwich
- Embrace the mess and enjoy!
Cook the eggs in the same pan as the bacon for extra flavour
